A salary of 228,254 euros per year to buy in Paris
Unsurprisingly, it is in Paris that a household must earn the most to buy an apartment of 80 square meters. Count on average on a gross annual income of 228,254 euros to acquire a property in the capital. After Paris, Boulogne-Billancourt (189,000 euros gross per year), Versailles (179,000 euros) and Asnières-sur-Seine (150,000 euros) are the three largest cities in France requiring the highest gross annual salary necessary to buy a good. Conversely, you can buy a property in Mulhouse or Saint-Etienne, the two most affordable cities in the ranking, with a salary of less than 30,000 euros gross per year. In other words, a household that buys an apartment in Paris must earn 198,659 euros more than a family that buys a property in Mulhouse!
