This batting line-up is very strong
RCB has always had a strong batting line-up. The team has retained the core team that played last season. None of the key players were released in the auction. RCB have better Indian and foreign batsmen.
The batting combination of Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell can be a terror to any team. Rajat Patidar, Mahipal Lomror and Dinesh Karthik combine to form RCB.
This is the bowling line-up
RCB has a decent bowling line-up, although it cannot be described as spectacular. Muhammad Siraj, who is a regular presence in the national team, has reached the first position in the ICC rankings. Siraj is sure to get sharper on the Indian pitch.
Harshal Patel is also a wicket-taking pacer. Vanindu Hazaranka, who has an impressive record in the Indian subcontinent, will also be a headache for the opponents. Shehbaz Ahmed also joins the bowling line of the team.

RCB has an impressive batting line-up and relatively better bowling line-up. But there is no such good all-rounder in the team. That is one factor affecting RCB’s team balance.
Spinners Shahbaz Ahmed and Wanidu Hazaranga are also capable of batting. But neither can fill the void of a good all-rounder. RCB could not make up for this shortcoming in the IPL auction as well.
