The world of Latin music has eagerly awaited the return of RBD, the iconic pop group that played their last concert in December 2008.
Since that day, his supporters have incessantly called for a reunion, but the chances of it ever happening seemed remote. Until now.
On August 25, five of the six original members of RBD—Anahí, Dulce María, Maite, Christian, and Christopher—kicked off their “Soy Rebelde” tour, singing in public for the first time in five years. The tour kicked off in El Paso, Texas, marking the official start of a tour that sold 1.5 million tickets in the first 24 hours it went on sale.
Those lucky enough to have tickets were able to see multiple costume changes, sumptuous set design, RBD accompanied by a band and, for the first time, dancers. And, of course, they were able to listen to a long list of hits.
