The German record champions’ new competitive season began with a false start. The FC Bayern Munich lost the DFL-Supercup against RB Leipzig 0:3. With Konrad Laimer (Bavaria) or Xavier Schlager and Nicolas Seiwald (Leipzig) three Austrian national team players were in action. Striker-Star also came to his Bayern debut Harry Kane.
Leipzig with a dream start

Nothing should change in Leipzig’s three-goal lead. For the first time since 2019, the Supercup winner is not called Bayern Munich. After two victories in the DFB Cup, it is the third major title for the Red Bull club from Saxony, which was founded in 2009.
