Razer unveils a concept computer in the form of a table with a huge OLED screen

Razer regularly presents bold concept computers at CES. CES 2022 was no exception, at which the company showed off a device called Project Sophia, which is a modular computer in the form of a table, which is complemented by a huge OLED display.

The table is designed to accommodate 13 different plug-in slots. Users can add many different items, including additional displays for displaying various information, Qi chargers, mug warmers, graphic tablets, audio mixers, and more. Razer expects the modular design of the computer to allow users to customize it to suit their specific needs and use cases.

As for the PC itself, Razer’s concept suggests that it will be built directly into the table. All components will be located in a separate case with magnetic mounts, which can be easily detached from the table to replace components such as a processor or video card.

The table is matched with a huge 65- or 77-inch OLED panel that allows for high-quality display. Of course, the device boasts an abundance of Chroma RGB lighting.

Unfortunately, Project Sophia will likely remain a concept device that will never go into mass production. And even if such a computer did enter the market, its cost would probably be exorbitant.
