Razer Leviathan V2 Pro, spatial sound and head tracking

Like the sniper looking at you through his scope, the Leviathan V2 Pro always has your skull in sight, with cameras and artificial intelligence to track your upper body movements.

It can be easy to get carried away playing games these days. These razor-sharp graphics and crisp sound effects can have you dodging like Anthony Joshua for cover or dodging virtual bullets. If you’re using a desktop soundbar, it might mean your head is drifting in and out of its narrow sweet spot, so Razer has found that solution.
The Leviathan V2 Pro directs sound directly to your ears using beamforming technology licensed from UK sound experts Audioscenic, so things should still sound smooth even if you can’t sit still. To make sure you just put your head in the middle of a battlefield, the V2 Pro also supports THX Spatial Audio.

It wouldn’t mean much if the soundbar didn’t offer a powerful charge. But behind the grille you’ll find five 2-inch full-range speakers, along with a separate 5.25-inch subwoofer down to provide the rumble. It’s got a simple USB connection to your PC, but there’s also Bluetooth 5.0, plus a headphone jack if you want to keep gaming following everyone’s gone to bed.
Of course, this is a Razer product, so it wouldn’t leave the factory without its fair share of Chroma RGB lights – you get 30 distinct zones, each fully customizable through the Razer Audio app.

The Razer Leviathan V2 Pro is set to land worldwide from February, with prices set to start at €490. Just try not to go completely prone when someone throws a kill.
