This is my first experience with the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless X, a wireless earbud in the Razer product line, a professional gaming gear brand.
The term ‘earbuds’ is also known in the preparation process for this experience, so I would like to look at it from a beginner’s point of view.
This product box comes in Razer’s signature black and green color scheme.
It is completely sealed with plastic to reflect light.
-Razer Hammerhead True Wireless X 스펙-
The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless range is divided into three categories: Pro, Chroma and X.
The biggest difference from the higher versions, Pro and Chroma, is that they do not support active noise cancellation and are open-type earbuds that wear half-in-ears.
Open. The charging case sits securely in the top center.
It seems to have been held once once more with a nice plastic to prevent the case lid from opening.
The matte black case is beautifully embossed with the Razer wording.
USB-C charging cable.
It is also finished with a silicone-flexible rubber cover with the Razer inscription.
This is the first time I have come across a product that cares so much regarding a simple cable. That’s why lasers! laser! It seems.
Green points on the USB port too!
The detail is absolutely perfect.
If you lightly slide the lid off, you can see the smooth glossy earbuds unlike the matte case.
It is firmly fixed with magnetism.
The laser logo green backlight blinks.
It is possible to switch functions through the touch method on the lower part. First of all, familiarity with the function is required.
There is a time difference between the left and right lights following opening for the first time.
I have only used the in-ear type, so the half-in-ear type also seems to need adaptation.
I was unable to install the Razer Audio app because my smartphone is Android 7.
I was going to try various effects and user customization, but it’s a pity.
The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless X supports Bluetooth v5.2.
Let’s pair it with an old phone first.
At the same time as you connect, you can listen to the female voice guidance in English. It’s fresh.
I tried wearing it in the ear as a half-in-ear type as it is in its default state.
It’s my first experience so my ears tingle a little.
First of all, I tried head banging to check the fixing power, but it adheres well without shaking.
I’ve used the neckband type, but it’s completely wireless, so it’s really free.
-Result of testing for regarding 3 hours through music files and YouTube-
As a user who always listens to music at the maximum level, I expected it, but the half-in-ear type showed somewhat insufficient volume compared to the in-ear type.
There were a few instances where the tape stretched for 2-4 seconds when playing and pausing alternately between touching the smartphone button and the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless X earbuds. I don’t know the exact reason, but I think it’s a problem because it’s not perfectly compatible with old phones.
From the point where it is regarding 9m from the smartphone, we have confirmed the phenomenon of a vinyl record bouncing several times.
Personally, I don’t think it’s a big deal in this case, as I’ve been testing it in an atrocious environment.
Next, I tested it with a silicone sleeve attached.
In the default state, following installation, the surface of the earbuds looked a little dirty due to sweat and oil marks.
There was no problem except for the right ear, which left a slight tingling following wearing the first half-in-ear for the first 3 hours. Let’s adapt!
It closes without problems even with the sleeves on.
You have to finish the test and recharge! After all, Razer Ganji!
It was great to be able to experience firsthand the excellence of the finish and detail of Razer products through this experience.
The compatibility with older phones and the feeling that the response is a little slower compared to the button-type operation method is a bit disappointing, but the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless X seems to be able to completely escape the sweating stickiness and frequent disconnection problems caused by wires during outdoor activities in the coming summer. .
This experience was written by receiving the product from Razer’s official importer, Waycos.
