Rave party in Sombreffe: thousands of people take part in a clandestine party

A rave party has been organized in Sombreffe since this Saturday evening. It takes place in the former hangars of the Carwall company. Sent to the scene, one of our teams found that the wild party was still going on this Sunday around 4:30 p.m. About 5,000 people are taking part in the clandestine event, according to our sources. Participants come from many countries: England, Lithuania, Switzerland, etc. Inside the buildings, three stages were set up and dozens of DJs mixed.

The SamSom police zone went to the scene, before requesting reinforcements from five police zones, as well as the federal police. Given the crowds, a mass intervention was not possible. Firefighters from the Val de Sambre area were also called in.

The police estimate that the rave party could last at least until Monday evening.
