The president of the youth, sport, arts and culture commission of Ratoma town hall made revelations this Thursday, October 19, 2023, on the management of Alpha Oumar Sacko, current mayor of this municipality.
For Passy Condé, municipal councilor elected under the banner of the Union of Democratic Forces of Guinea (UFDG) party, the team currently at the head of the municipality of Ratoma has no record. Which, according to him, does not honor the party which is the majority in this commune.
“We are tarnishing not only the image of our political party, but also our own image. For what ? We were lucky to have Ratoma, we are in the majority, we are the big decision-makers, we aspire to manage a nation, but if the management of Ratoma town hall is so catastrophic, it is really disappointing,” said regretted the municipal council this Thursday in the Grandes Gueules sur Espace.
Passy Condé accuses the mayor Alpha Oumar Sacko and his entourage of managing the commune of Ratoma on the basis of clan and communitarianism: “You come with good projects, but when you submit the project, some of our fellow councilors who do not fall under not even from this commission, come to see the mayor to discourage him. The mayor ended up abandoning the project.
This municipal councilor also mentioned the case of contract workers in the municipality who have worked without a bonus for more than 8 years. Here too, he accuses the mayor of having taken care of certain relatives to the detriment of the contract workers who are on duty: “We are surprised to see that there is a list of contract workers which has been drawn up. There are people on this list who have been taken into care but who have not even served two months. Some don’t even come there but they end up on the list. And even that, there are contract workers who are paid 500 thousand francs, while others have the same salary as a civil servant in hierarchy A.
Regarding sanitation, Passy Condé denounces the Alpha Oumar Sacko team, which “refuses” to make the means available to the teams dealing with public health issues. This municipal council also accuses the mayor and three of his relatives of recruiting a company for the digitalization of the town hall without a call for tender.
