What is Raspberry Pi Imager?
Raspberry Pi Imager is a application for installing a compatible operating system on a Raspberry Pi computer. The tool, developed since the end of 2020, includes a list of OS downloadable directly from the Raspberry Foundation website, but it is possible to install a personalized image.

Raspberry Pi Imager 1.8.1: what’s new?
The version 1.6 de Raspberry Pi Imager was released on October 19, 2023, with a burst of corrections, but the main new feature is compatibility with the Raspberry Pi 5 (the official release of which took place on October 23).

Installer Raspberry Pi Imager
Raspberry Pi Imager is a free cross-platform application, available for Windows, macOS, Ubuntu x86 and Raspberry Pi OS since this page.
The minimum supported version of Ubuntu is now 22.04. For macOS, it is version 10.15 (Catalina).
It is also possible toinstall Raspberry Pi Imager from command line with the following instruction:
sudo apt install rpi-imager
