The President of the Republic pointed out, “The necessity of serious work to improve the reality of the city and the advancement of the standard of living, pointing to the suffering facing the displaced, especially from the people of Sinjar, and the importance of speeding up the resolution of their file and returning them to their areas of residence with honorable reinforcements.”
He stressed “the necessity of rebuilding the city, providing basic services to citizens, compensating those affected, and providing the necessary support to enhance the security and stability of its areas.”
In turn, the members of the delegation reviewed the social and economic conditions they face, especially following the crimes committed by ISIS elements once morest the components of the city, stressing that their cohesion and national will contributed to achieving victory over the forces of terrorism.
The members of the delegation demanded the return of institutions and administrative departments to the city and the allocation of a budget for it to expedite its reconstruction and facilitate the return of the displaced to their areas.
