Ras Al Khaimah, 21 October / WAM / The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command signed a memorandum of understanding with Etihad Rail Company, in an effort to integrate efforts, enhance cooperation, exchange experiences, and hold coordination meetings between the two sides that would raise the level of security preparedness in all common areas and improve the quality of life in society. .
The memorandum was signed by Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, and Dr. Khalid Ahmed bin Faisal Al Shehhi, Executive Director of the Railway Sector at Etihad Rail, in the presence of Brigadier Jamal Ahmed Al Tair, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, and representatives from both sides.
Major General Ali bin Alwan explained that, according to the memorandum, work will be done to activate the partnership and integration between the two parties and develop a security plan aimed at defining the specializations, especially those cases that require an initial response, such as cases of (reports / accidents / emergencies) during the operation of trains and their facilities and facilities across the network. Federal Railways, according to the specific security plan, to reduce risks that may threaten the safety of the railway network, by developing a sustainable work program to ensure the safety of trains and stations in accordance with best practices.
The Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police stressed the keenness and interest of Ras Al Khaimah Police to strengthen partnerships with various government agencies and achieve continuous communication and coordination with national institutions as an important strategic principle to achieve the aspirations of the Ministry of Interior in anticipating the future and supporting development and sustainability.
