Aliki Vougiouklakis would have had her birthday yesterday and her son published a rare photo from her last party.
The famous Greek actress who died on July 23, 1996, plunging the whole of Greece into mourning, celebrated her birthday two years ago with a big party with special guests from showbiz.

In the photo she uploaded on her official Instagram account, her son, Alivi Vougiouklaki looks very happy in a crimson Valentino gown.
The caption of the post reads: “Aliki was born today. In the photo, specifically on July 20, 1994, Aliki celebrates her birthday at “La Playa” in Voula (later known as Vive Mar) together with Giannis, her family, close friends and beloved colleagues. Beautiful and radiant in a wonderful red Valentino gown, she has fun and dances all night enjoying the wishes of the guests including Alekos Alexandrakis, Nora Valsami, Errikos Andreou, Angela Gerekou, Stamatis Fasoulis, Minos Kyriakou, Giorgos Moutsios, and Minos Matsas. This particular summer she is in intensive rehearsals for the staging next fall of the legendary musical “The Melody of Happiness” which was also her swan song.
