MOSCOW (AFP) – Kiev “responded” to Russia’s latest attack on Ukraine following an unprecedented drone attack on the Russian capital, the Kremlin said on Monday.
Moscow was the target of a rare drone attack this morning, causing “minor” damage to buildings, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: “Obviously we are talking regarding the Kiev regime’s response to a very effective attack on a command center in (Ukraine).” Clarify where the aforementioned Russian attack took place.
Peskov told reporters that there are currently no victims and no threat to the residents of the city of Moscow and Moscow Oblast.
Peskov also said that Russian President Vladimir Putin had started to deal with official business very early today, and he received immediate reports from the Russian Ministry of Defense, the mayor of Moscow, the governor of Moscow Region and the Ministry of Emergencies when the incident happened.
