Rappi broke record sales of Panini album sheets

The quick commerce or fast trade is approaching and brings the football party to Colombians, on the eve of the celebration of the World Cup in Qatar. That is how Turbo, Rappi’s ultra-fast service, has sold more than 588,000 sheets of the Panini album in all the country.

Bogotá appears as the first consumer city of the stickers with 375,000followed by Medellín with 103,000, Barranquilla with 41,000 and Cali with a total of 33,000 sold respectively.

These figures are interesting considering that according to experts, this product today is four times more expensive than in 2010.

The company highlighted that the love and passion for football that leads to continue the tradition of having the album completely full and exchanging sheets among friends, co-workers and family, will not be lost.

“We are happy to be able to deliver both the album and the ‘monas’ to our users in less than 10 minutes. Our average delivery time for these products has been 8 minutes and we broke the record with 3 minutes.. This makes us proud because we are not only being part of the country’s economic movement, but also part of the most important football festival,” said Diana Álvarez, manager of Turbo at Rappi Colombia, in a statement.

The more than 588,000 sheets sold through the Turbo option in Rappi and the projection of the more than 1,000 albums that it calculates to sellto “SuperApp”, they reaffirm the commitment of commerce through digital platforms, since with this interesting business it is expected to increase its sales by 4% compared to a conventional month.
