Rapid PCR Test: Passengers traveling from India to Sharjah have been exempted from the rapid test

Sharjah: Passengers traveling to Sharjah have been exempted from rapid PCR testing. This was announced by Air Arabia, the official airline of Sharjah. Passengers from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Nepal, Egypt and Uganda were exempted from the Rapid PCR test.

However, the result of the RT PCR test taken within 48 hours is mandatory. The proposal came into effect from today. Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah airports have not been notified.

Passengers traveling to Dubai have been exempted from the Rapid PCR test

Dubai: Rapid PCR Test has been waived for passengers traveling to Dubai. The decision came into effect from today. This concession is applicable to passengers coming to Dubai from all airports in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

However, there is no change in the protocol for RT PCR result to be negative within 48 hours. On arrival in Dubai, Kovid will have a check-in at the airport. A circular from the Dubai Airport Authority says the quarantine should remain in place until a negative result is obtained. At the same time, travelers to other airports in the UAE, including Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, still need the Rapid PCR.

Air India Express urges UAE-India passengers not to undergo PCR test

Abu Dhabi: Air India Express (Air India Express) has waived the RT PCR test for those traveling to India from the UAE following receiving two doses of the Kovid vaccine from India. Exemption is given to those who have received two doses of Wax from India. Air India Express and Air India have issued notices in this regard.

This is in line with the new guidelines for UAE-India passengers by Air India, Air India Express, Go Air, SpiceJet and IndiGo. Travelers are required to upload Kovid Vaccination Certificate from India on Air Facility Portal.

Vaccine recipients from the UAE are required to present a negative result of the PCR test taken within 72 hours of traveling to India. All passengers are required to upload a 14-day travel information, including travel information, to the Form Air Convenience Portal prior to departure.
