Capital raisings amounted to 63.46 billion dirhams (billion dirhams) at the end of September 2023, compared to 47.62 billion dirhams over the same period a year earlier, according to the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC).
These liftings concern the issues of negotiable debt securities – TCN (57.10 billion dirhams), bond issues (6.3 billion dirhams) and issues of capital securities (56 million dirhams (MDH)), specifies the AMMC in its bulletin relating to monthly capital market indicators for the month of September 2023.
In September alone, capital raisings stood at more than 6.63 billion dirhams, mainly made up of TCN, continues the same source.
AMMC indicators also show a 26% increase, year-on-year, in the outstanding securities lending and borrowing operations to MAD 25.8 billion at the end of last September.
