Ranji Trophy: Kerala won by an innings against Meghalaya

Mumbai: Kerala won the Ranji Trophy by an innings against Meghalaya. Kerala won by an innings and 166 runs. Meghalaya ended Kerala’s first innings score of 148 with a target of 505 runs. Meghalaya, which was followed on, was out for 191.

Basil Thampi, who took four wickets, smashed Meghalaya in the second innings. Eden Apple Tom and Jalaj Saxena took two wickets each. Khurana was Meghalaya’s top scorer with 75 runs. Dipu remained unbeaten on 55.

Meghalaya ended the first innings at 148. Puneet Bisht was the only batsman to score 93 runs. For Kerala, Eden and Manu Krishna took three wickets each, while Sreesanth took two and Basil Thampi one.
