Mumbai set a huge target of 538 runs for Vidarbha in the last innings of the Ranji Trophy final. When Vidarbha won the toss and elected to field, Mumbai were all out for 224 runs in the first innings.

Mumbai scored 418 runs in the second innings. Currently, at the end of the third day, Vidarbha has scored 10 runs in the continued batting. Opener Adarv Taid is at the crease with three runs and Dhruv Shorey with seven runs.
