RAN music group is ready to release an album containing children’s songs entitled RAN For Your Kids on July 23, 2024 to revive the excitement of children’s songs in Indonesia.
“There are many memories attached to children’s songs, and perhaps musically it really enriches our musicality,” said RAN personnel, Asta Andoko, quoted Saturday (20/7).
“Our days became happier, for example, going to school listening to the children’s song Happy, in essence it made our childhood more fun,” he continued.
Reviving the excitement of children’s songs is certainly not an easy job that can be completed by one or two parties alone. A collective role is needed to make Indonesian children’s songs glorious once more.
Occasionally, these efforts come from musicians who are concerned regarding this. Most recently, RAN also showed its concern for this area.
RAN will release a children’s album titled RAN For Your Kids on July 23, 2024. The eight-track album consists of four songs and four voice over tracks from Kak Seto (Child Psychologist).

The iconic song Macet Lagi, which is synonymous with the character Si Komo, is also revived with a more relevant context through this album.
Interestingly, RAN did not immediately release RAN For Your Kids as a music album alone. More than that, they also want to get closer to the world of children through the characters in the music video that will be released in the near future.
Not only that, other activations will also be carried out as RAN’s efforts to raise the issue of children’s songs once more, one of which is by having a picnic at the Cipete Urban Forest.

“Initially, (the making of this album) started from our anxiety seeing many children singing songs with adult lyrics,” said Nino from RAN.
“We think that maybe it all happened because of the limited choice of children’s songs these days. Considering our motto RAN FOR YOUR LIFE, why don’t we try to accommodate that problem,” he continued.
In addition, RAN also has child-friendly songs that are in line with the spirit of instilling positive values in children.
Therefore, the group led by Rayi, Asta, and Nino wants to make a bigger contribution to the world of Indonesian children’s music through the album RAN For Your Kids.
“We also have songs that are suitable for children to listen to, such as Selamat Pagi, Sepeda, and Dekat di Hati,” concluded Rayi RAN. (Ant/Z-1)
