The Egyptian artist, Mohamed Ramadan, celebrated his 35th birthday and shared a video clip on his personal page showing a candy bar decorated with gold, money and cigars, to spark controversy once more on social media, just days following the incident of the seat full of dollars.
Ramadan expressed his happiness with the candy mold and commented: “Praise be to God for what has passed and praise be to God for what is to come. Today is my birthday, but in America they celebrated before us, as usual, the time difference.”
A few days ago, a picture circulated by social media activists in Egypt of Ramadan on the plane, next to him a seat full of dollars, sparked controversy, and the Egyptian actor Khaled Al-Sarhan entered the line of sarcasm, who published a picture riding a microbus with torn seats and some pounds next to him, in response to the image of Ramadan.

And at a time when the images aroused controversy, Ramadan deleted the images in which the dollars were clearly visible, and was satisfied with a picture that did not appear in them.
This is not the first time that Ramadan has raised controversy by publishing “dollars”, as he previously published a video clip of him throwing an amount of money into a swimming pool.
The pictures of Ramadan witnessed a wide interaction from the pioneers of the communication sites, and sparked criticism and anger among the activists, as some of them described the pictures as an expression of his “mental illness”, considering it “negative propaganda to achieve high viewership rates.”
And at the time Khaled Sarhan published his photo, Ramadan responded in the same way, with several modified photos.
