During a meeting this Thursday at the headquarters of the airline, the two bodies discussed the axes of the partnership, signed jointly on June 9. The CEO of RAM, Abdelhamid Addou, indicated that the teams were “resolutely” turned towards “a new era where the ONMT and RAM unite their skills”. “A good aerial program is a condition without it none for a rapid and lasting resumption of tourist activity”, he added, stressing that “today is a [des] priority missions” of the institution.
Adel El Fakir, director general of the ONMT, stressed that the “common objective” is to “secure the maximum air capacity to initiate a rapid resumption of tourist activity in Morocco”. “We are in the process of putting in place all the necessary measures to achieve this,” he said.
Among the main measures of the partnership, RAM and ONMT “will work to strengthen Morocco’s connectivity through the establishment of new point-to-point air links, the objective of which will be to meet market needs by improving the “accessibility of the Morocco destination both for the strategic basins of tourists and for Moroccans around the world,” the statement said.
The other axis of this partnership concerns “the establishment of a common policy in terms of promotion and marketing for the destination”.
