“I remember my manager saying before, if one day you are invited to Cannes, don’t wear a kebaya,” said Raline Shah in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta recently.

“I’m pretty positive, it’s pretty viral, it turns out I’m wearing a kebaya,” said Raline Shah.

This year she finally brought a kebaya and used it to attend events Cannes Film Festival.

Because of that Raline Shah felt very proud. He wants Indonesian kebaya to be known to the world like clothes from other countries.
“Because for example, Indian artists are very proud to wear saris, and we, Indonesians, have our identity, yes, kebaya is the same as Japanese people wear kimonos. So, yes, we must be proud,” he explained. Raline Shah.
