On Instagram, Ralf Schumacher shares a picture together with his partner, Etienne, in the sunset. It is the first time that the former Formula 1 driver and now the expert tells us that he is gay.
“The most beautiful thing in life is when you have the right partner by your side with whom you can share everything”he writes.
During the post, he is showered with love. Among other things by the German singer and friend Carmen Geiss.
“I love you both so much. You have the best partner, Etienne, that you might ever imagine. After two years, you can finally show your love to the world,” she writes, among other things.
Brother of Michael Schumacher
Ralf is the brother of the great German driver Michael Schumacher who won seven World Championship titles in Formula 1 during his career. He himself debuted in 1997 and drove following that for 10 years. During his career he won six races and was on the podium 27 times.
Divorced in 2015
Ralf Schumacher was previously married to Cora Schumacher, 47, with whom he has one child, David Schumacher, 22, who is also a racing driver. After 14 years together, they divorced in 2015 and since then he has been single.
