Kolkata: Rajasthan Royals player Jos Buttler has been fined for violating the IPL code of conduct during the match once morest Kolkata Knight Riders.

Buttler has been fined 10 percent of the match fee, the IPL governing body said in a statement. Buttler has been charged with a level one offense under Article 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct.

Level 1 offenses include damage to cricket equipment, clothing or ground fixtures and fittings.

This may include verbal or gestural disagreement with the umpire’s decision, use of obscene, abusive or insulting language, making obscene gestures, excessive celebration, and aggressive gesticulation towards the pavilion or dressing rooms.

But it is not clear in the statement released by the IPL which of these crimes is from Butler’s side.
