The meeting was attended by Dr. Ali Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Nevin El Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, Major General Khairat Barakat, Head of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, and Major General Jamal Awad, Head of the National Authority for Social Insurance. During the meeting, Dr. Hala Al-Said stressed that the current crises in the context of geopolitical challenges affect the economy in all countries of the world, including Egypt, pointing to the important role played by the federations of the various chambers in cooperation with the National Wages Council in reaching a great consensus on the minimum wage despite The exceptional circumstances the country is going through.

Al-Saeed referred to the state’s efforts to strike a balance between preserving Egyptian labor and economic entities, and setting an appropriate minimum wage.

The Minister of Manpower, Hassan Shehata, affirmed that the serious social dialogue that took place between the parties to the production process, including the government, business owners, and workers in this meeting, resulted in these increases, explaining that the increase in the minimum wage will be for all establishments without exceptions, assuring all parties that The next stage will witness more dialogue for more gains for all parties, and that the goal is to preserve the rights of workers, and at the same time stabilize work and production sites, and that the government has an interest in strengthening labor relations between all parties in order to increase production in the face of all current challenges .
