With the arrival of winter, Chilean families must be prepared to face not only the cold, but also eventual rains or storms that affect their towns.
That is why, so that the weather does not take you by surprise, we will show you the regions where it will rain this Friday, according to information from the Chilean Meteorological Directorate.
In which regions will it rain this Friday in Chile?
Valparaiso Region
The entire region will have isolated showers during the early morning, while in the morning and followingnoon it will vary to light and partial rain.
Metropolitan region
The capital will receive rain and overcast skies during the day this Friday.
O’Higgins Region
Rancagua, Rengo, San Fernando, Santa Cruz and Pichilemu will have rain from early morning until night. In addition, the sky will be cloudy.
Maule Region
In Curicó, Molina, Talca and Cauquenes it will rain all day this Friday. Meanwhile, the sky will be covered throughout the day.
Ñuble Region
The entire region expects rain and intermittent winds between 25 to 40 km/h during the followingnoon and night. Likewise, Chillán and Cobquecura may witness electrical storms during the morning.
Bio bio region
All sectors of Biobío will have rainfall, as well as wind between 25 and 40 km/h. To this are added possible electrical storms in the early hours of this Friday.
Araucania region
Rain is expected throughout the region and throughout the day. Meanwhile, the sky will be covered until night.
River region
Throughout the region there will be rain from early morning to night. This can be accompanied by winds of up to 25 kph.
Lakes Region
In Osorno, Puerto Montt, Chaitén, Cochamó and Quellón there will be rain all day, and possible winds of up to 40 kilometers per hour. In Futaleufú it will rain all day. However, at dawn and tomorrow it will fall snow-water.
Aisén Region
Melinka, Lago Verde, Puerto Cisnes, Puerto Aysén and Caleta Tortel will have rain all day. In Coyhaique, Puerto Ingeniero Ibáñez, Cochrane and Villa O’Higgins there will be snow showers between dawn and tomorrow.
Magellan Region
Torres del Paine and Puerto Natales will have light rain-snow showers all day Thursday. For its part, Punta Arenas and Porvenir will have rain with falling water-snow throughout the day Friday. Puerto Williams will be cloudy and with light snow showers all day.
Antarctic Peninsula
Antarctica will have a day with cloudy skies and with winds between 40 and 60 km/h, as well as gusts of wind of up to 70 km/h.
