Rainbow Six Mobile is official, here are the first details

The always very well informed Tom Henderson said a few weeks ago thatUbisoft was currently working on a mobile version of Rainbow Six Siege, which would be revealed on April 6. So, admittedly, it’s April 5, and the game is only called Rainbow Six Mobilebut we have to believe that the insider had still seen rather correctly, with Ubisoft which reveals to us today the first details on its new mobile game.

Rainbow Six Siege adapts to mobiles

Rainbow Six Mobile therefore has the idea of using the formula of Rainbow Six Siege to adapt it to mobile platforms. A team from Ubisoft Montreal is in charge of the project (and has been on it for 3 years now), and this is a team created for the occasion, independent of the team that is still working currently on Siege.

There will be clashes with two teams of 5, namely a team of attackers and another with defenders. The gameplay has been redesigned to best fit the controls of mobile platforms, as has the interface. The cards confirmed for the moment are those of the Bank and of the Frontierwhile a few agents were unveiled:

Attackers :

  • Ash
  • Sledge
  • Twitch
  • Thermite
  • Hibana

Defenders :

  • Skull
  • Bandit
  • Smoke
  • Valkyrie
  • Mute

Other agents will be revealed by the release of the title. The first tests will begin in the coming weeks, including a closed beta. It is already possible to register on Ubisoft official website for a chance to participate.

No release date has been mentioned for the moment concerning this Rainbow Six Mobileintended for iOS and Android platforms.
