Rain forecast in Sindh from today to August 31, how much rain is likely in Karachi – Pakistan

A powerful Monsoon system is likely to enter the country from today, due to which heavy rains are forecast across Sindh, including Karachi, from August 26 to 29.

According to the Meteorological Department, the strong low pressure over central India has intensified, the system is present in Madhya Pradesh in the form of a depression, this system is likely to enter East Sindh tonight or tomorrow morning.

The Meteorological Department said that the monsoon winds under the influence of this system may enter Sindh with intensity, there is a possibility of strong winds and thundershowers in Sindh from tonight to August 31, while between August 26 and 29, Sindh will experience heavy rainfall. Other districts may receive rain with gusty winds and thundershowers.

There is a possibility of intermittent rain with winds and thunderstorms in Karachi during August 26 to 29, while there is a possibility of heavy rain in the Kirthar range and the mountain ranges of Balochistan.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to heavy rain, the low-lying areas of Sindh may be flooded, the sea will be flooded during this time, so be careful during this time.

A state of emergency has been imposed in Karachi in view of the forecast of rain and the leave of all the staff of Baldia Uzma has been cancelled.

Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab has directed the municipal services to be on high alert.
