An official from Rain Company told Maeil Business Daily Star Today on the 29th, “It is not true that Rain resigned as the CEO of the agency or handed over the right to manage Cypher to another agency.”
Earlier that day, a media outlet drew attention by reporting that Rain was resigning from the position of CEO of Rain Company, and that Cypher, the group he had produced, would also hand over the rights to another agency to manage and remain only as a producer.
However, Rain Company dismissed the report as “unfounded.”
Meanwhile, Cypher is a 7-member boy group that debuted in March of last year and was produced by Rain himself, drawing attention.
