ATLANTA, Georgia. – The possibility that the snow would return to Metro Atlanta this weekend has been present in the minds of the inhabitants of the region, who have shown feelings of excitement and concern regarding what might happen this weekend.
What is the chance of snow falling?
Some models, such as the GSF, predict that the Metro Atlanta region might receive a few snowflakes.
Meteorologist Eduardo Rodríguez explained that northern Georgia will receive more snowdrifts from Saturday night to Sunday. “You have to be prepared, although we don’t have any warning so far,” Rodríguez said.
The European model gives a forecast of a much higher amount of snow, especially in the northeast of the state. This graph indicates that significant snow accumulations might be recorded in these areas.
In that model, Metro Atlanta would receive one inch of snow.
