The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, announced plans to restore passenger rail communication between Crimea, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
According to him, the railway infrastructure will be fully restored.
“Regions (Kherson and Zaporozhye regions) will live a normal, calm human life,” Aksyonov said, adding that he had no doubts that these plans would be implemented.
The railway communication between Crimea and Kherson and Zaporozhye regions was interrupted at the initiative of the Kyiv authorities in 2014. Earlier, Aksyonov said that the Kherson region was completely liberated from Ukrainian nationalists and was returning to peaceful life.
