LAS VEGAS (AP) — Robert Spillane intercepted Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love twice, Amik Robertson had a pick to seal the victory in the end zone and the Las Vegas Raiders beat the Packers 17-13 on Monday to end a three-game losing streak.
The Raiders offense did enough. Jimmy Garoppolo completed 22 of 31 passes for 208 yards and a touchdown, throwing for an NFL-high seven interceptions. Jakobi Meyers caught seven passes for 75 yards and a touchdown.
Love completed 16 of 30 passes for 182 yards and three interceptions.
Both offenses struggled. The Raiders (2-3) gained 279 yards and the Packers (2-3) finished with 285.
Las Vegas ended an eight-game losing streak once morest the Packers, the last time they beat them was in 1987 when the Raiders were still in Los Angeles.
The Raiders led 10-3 at halftime thanks to a nine-yard touchdown pass from Garoppolo to Meyers. Las Vegas had a chance to extend the lead following Spillane’s interception in the second quarter for the Raiders to regain possession at the Green Bay 7-yard line, but settled for a short field goal.
This kind of start to the game was nothing new for Green Bay, which has scored six first-half points in its last three games. Two weeks ago they overcame a 17-0 halftime deficit to beat the Saints, and last week they outscored the Lions 17-7 in the second half but still lost by two scores.
