Raiber Rodríguez obtains an Olympic diploma for Venezuela in Greco-Roman wrestling

The Creole Raiber Rodríguez ends his performance in the Olympic Games Paris 2024, after losing to Ri Se Ung in the bronze medal match in the 60-kilogram Greco-Roman wrestling category.

The fight was rather short-lived. The North Korean fighter quickly went in search of victory and applied a hold to the Venezuelan representative, from which he could not escape.

However, the final result was 8-0 for the Asian in the Mars Arena.

However, despite the defeat, it is a great result for Raiber Rodríguez, after finishing in 17th place in his first Olympic Games, in Rio 2016.

In addition, by finishing in fifth place he obtained his Olympic diploma, being this the first one obtained by Greco-Roman wrestling in the history of Venezuela.
