Thiruvananthapuram: Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will enter Kerala on Sunday. KPCC president K. Sudhakaran MP, opposition leader VD Satheesan, AICC general secretary Tariq Anwar, former chief minister Oommen Chandy, former opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala, K. Muralidharan MP, UDF convener MM Hassan and others will receive the procession from Parasala at 7 am.
The arrangement of the trip is to tour Thiruvananthapuram district on 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th and enter Kollam district on 14th in the followingnoon. The journey will pass through Kollam district on 15th and 16th and will stop at Alappuzha on 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th, Ernakulam district on 21st and 22nd, Thrissur district on 23rd, 24th and 25th and Palakkad on 26th and 27th. It will pass through Malappuram district on 28th and 29th and complete the tour of Kerala and enter Karnataka via Goodalur in Tamil Nadu. The Jodo Yatra started from Kanyakumari on 7th September. The timing of the yatra is from 7 am to 11 am and from 4 pm to 7 pm. The 150-day padayatra passes through 12 states. It will be completed on January 30 following covering 3570 km. Rallies will be organized in 22 cities.
