Over the past three weeks, RAF fighter jets have been flying over the Baltic 21 times because of Russian aircraft. This is reported AFP with reference to the British Ministry of Defense.

The media specifies that the Russian planes allegedly did not respond to the signals of the air traffic control authorities, so British fighters took off into the air.

We are talking about Typhoon fighters, which have been in Estonia since the spring and are used for NATO operations to patrol the airspace and ensure the security of the Eastern European flank of the alliance, the agency writes. They also took part in the NATO Air Defender exercises, which the Russian Foreign Ministry called “an alarming step.”
