Cup-Rennen 28 (Playoffs 2/10): 23rd Annual Hollywood Casino 400 Foto: NASCAR

The 28th stop on the 2023 NASCAR calendar is Kansas Speedway. It is also the second of a total of ten playoff races for the championship. The second of three playoff races of the ‘Round of 16’ starts on Sunday. After the first three races, the four drivers with the weakest points are eliminated from the fight for the championship.

The speedway has only been on the cup calendar since 2001. Since the 2011 season, there have been two events a year at the Tri-Oval near Kansas City. For the 36th time, the drivers will drive on the 1.5-mile track with a banked bend of 15 degrees. It’s 10.4 degrees on the home straight, while the back straight has a banking of just five degrees. The race distance is divided into three stages of 80, 85 and 102 laps.
