Rabat – The International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization was held in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.
Visitors to the exhibition found themselves in front of a character narrating the biography of the Prophet through artificial intelligence technology in the first experience of its kind in the world, which impressed and impressed them.
This virtual character, according to a statement by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), is distinguished by “technical, encyclopedic and scientific capabilities.”
It also features “interaction with visitors and answers to all questions about the biography of the Holy Prophet, which provides exhibition visitors with a unique spiritual digital experience.”
In a fluent Arabic voice, “Bashir” begins by introducing himself to the visitors of the International Exhibition of the Prophet’s Biography, saying: “I am Bashir, the first virtual character to serve the Prophet’s Biography.”
He added: “I was designed and programmed with artificial intelligence technology to be able to interact directly and speak to the audience, and provide comprehensive information about the honorable biography of the Prophet.”
He continues: “I can help you identify the exhibition sections, and I can also receive inquiries in both Arabic and English.”
Last July, the ISESCO organization (based in Rabat) said in a statement: “In response to the success and great turnout achieved by the exhibition and museum (…) new updates were launched in its various halls and wings.”
She explained that among the updates is the launch of the character Bashir, “the first artificial intelligence character in the world to deal with the fragrant biography of the Prophet, and is distinguished by its technical, encyclopedic and scientific capabilities.”
The exhibition and museum at the headquarters of “ISESCO” receives many visitors from inside and outside Morocco, and it includes interactive screens that display many data and figures related to the biography of the Prophet.
It also contains models and large screens to display the most important events of the biography, and the character “Bashir” was added to keep pace with technological development.
Faisal Al-Baqali, a Moroccan visitor, described Bashir’s character as “a new creative work in its genre, which deepens the meaning of the biography. The exhibition also includes new interactive things.”
Al-Baqali added to Anadolu Agency that this character “embodies a kind of coronation of these new interactive technologies, which consolidate information about the Prophet’s biography and the values of Islam.”
In turn, Abdel Rahim Chikhi, a Moroccan visitor, said that Bashir’s character is “a new, innovative technique that will contribute to introducing Islam, because it includes English in addition to Arabic.”
“This character will contribute to spreading the biography, following the approach of the Companions, and following the approach of Moroccans, who are known for the biography at all times and places,” Sheikhi added.
The exhibition includes many Muhammadan inspirations, whether in its early stages or during viewing of what is on display, according to a statement by ISESCO.
It contains the “International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization,” supervised by the Muslim World League, and includes several sections documenting the life of the Chosen Messenger, may the best prayers and peace be upon him.
The second pavilion, “Panorama of the Prophet’s Chamber in the First Era,” displays the daily life of the Prophet Muhammad in his chamber, using 3D techniques and virtual reality mechanisms.
The third wing is “The Moroccans’ Connection to the Noble Prophet, the Beauty of Love and Loyalty Exhibition,” and is supervised by the Mohammedan League of Scholars in the Kingdom of Morocco.
This exhibition and museum is considered the first touring version of the exhibitions of the Prophet’s biography and Islamic civilization outside Saudi Arabia, which is headquartered in Medina, and enjoys special attention and patronage from the Kingdom, led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The permanent international exhibition and museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization was inaugurated at ISESCO headquarters in November 2022, as the culmination of a partnership between the organization, the Muslim World League, and the Mohammed VI League of Scholars in Morocco.
The exhibition and museum aim to “present the message of Islam represented in justice, peace, mercy, tolerance, coexistence and moderation, based on the Holy Quran and the Sunnah,” according to ISESCO.
