The semi-finals of “Meiji Probio Yogurt R-1 Presents R-1 Grand Prix 2024” to determine the No. 1 pin comedian were held on the 11th at Asahi Hall in Tokyo, and the finalists were announced on the same day. The “R-1 Grand Prix”, which started in 2002, has changed the entry qualifications from this year’s tournament and removed the restriction on entertainment history. (7) Yoshizumi Born on November 12, 1989, belongs to Production Jinrikisha. 10th year in the entertainment industry. Winner of “The W” in 2020.
(8) Tontukatan Matcha Born on September 26, 1989, belongs to Production Jinrikisha. 11th year in the entertainment industry.
(9) Dokusai Switch Planning Born September 8, 1987, amateur. 16th year of entertainment career. First advance to the finals. Winner of “All Japan Amateur Entertainer No.1 Tournament 2023”.
