QDH: Does Huber’s egghead help at Easter?

Dear Huberquizzers
This quiz (still exists) because quite a few important people believe that it is profitable for Watson in some way. In other words: This quiz is based on a commercial idea – we have to face the market, the competition from Netflix, YouTube and Instagram. And if one day it is no longer competitive, it will go under. Such is the harsh reality in the mass fight for your attention on your cell phone. But I don’t want to scare anyone. I want something different.
What is “Quizz den Huber”?
At Quizz den Huber you have the opportunity to compete in the quiz against our smartest employee (Daniel Huber, the brightest candle from watson, the big Hubini, Hubster or just “Hey you!”). We ask about classic general education topics such as geography, history, art & culture, etc. With a few exceptions, the quiz appears every Sunday at 8 p.m. sharp on watson.ch.
Under these circumstances, when I read from user Bruno.is.back that “hubern” was a nice shared ritual that he shared with his late father-in-law, our hearts open. Because we don’t actually produce the quiz for the market, we produce it for you. So that you can get angry, be happy, so that you can learn something and then forget it again. So that you can compare yourself with your relatives and friends, so that you have something to look forward to on Sunday evening.
The fact that we have been able to hold our own on the market for so long with this product is simply luck, but it also tempers our view of this seemingly cold monster a little more.
In that sense: This quiz is on you, father-in-law of Bruno.is.back! And to all the other “teams”. I still know about at least 2 – Sarah’s ex-giant shared apartment and the quiz friends with whom I studied sports almost 25 years ago. But there will be more of it. And we celebrate you.
And sorry that I moved Montevideo to the sea last week.
