Started well and quickly in the lead in a race that he finally controlled, Heading Reference (3 – N. Bazire) did not lead on a very sustained train before starting once more at the top of the climb then resisting all the attacks on the straight. Subject to a catch a few minutes before the start, going from 12 to 7/1, he benefited from a very good drive from Nicolas Bazire. A happy driver as he confided to the microphone of our colleagues from Equidia: “He gives the best every time. He’s a nice little horse. He was good because I tried to get away but he was able to resist some very good horses.“
A race without train which finally benefited the horses which occupied the first positions. In third layer nose to wind on the climb, Edy du Pommereux asked to blow at the intersection of the tracks and the trotters approaching in its wake such C.D. might not continue their effort.
