Samsung has rolled out a new update for the Galaxy S23. It weighs more than 2 GB and promises to significantly improve the smartphone camera.
The update had been expected since May when it was officially confirmed by a Samsung moderator. Now, the manufacturer has launched its deployment on the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra. The update weighs almost 2.2 GB and promises big changes.
Camera changes
With this update, bringing the firmware to version S91xBXXU2AWF1, Samsung solves the autofocus problem that could interfere with taking pictures. The algorithm for processing night photos has also been changed. Finally, Samsung has added a 2x zoom option when using portrait mode.

The update would also fix the halo effects that could be seen around objects in some photos, as well as improved HDR processing. The Galaxy S23s were already famous for their cameras and should therefore gain even more performance with this update.
For the rest, we can read that the new firmware offers better management of smartphone vibrations as well as smoother animations in OneUI, Samsung’s interface.
