Quetta: Grenade attacks on 3 places including girls school, 3 people killed, 8 injured – Pakistan

As a result of 3 hand grenade attacks in Quetta in a single day, 3 people including a woman were killed and 8 injured. Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Girls High School was first attacked with grenades, followed by a grenade attack on a shop in Liaquat Bazar and then a house in Kali Diba.

According to the police, a grenade attack was carried out on a house in Kali Diba, as a result of which a woman and a man were killed, while one person was also injured.

Earlier, regarding the explosion in the shop, the police said that on Tuesday evening, a hand grenade was thrown by unknown terrorists at the China market in the old market of Liaquat Bazaar in the center of the city, which exploded with a loud explosion. As a result, 7 people were injured. The injured were immediately shifted to Civil Hospital where they were identified as Muhammad, Habib-ur-Rehman, Irfan, Sagar and Yusuf Masih. The injured youth succumbed to his injuries at the Irfanullah Trauma Center.

According to the doctors, the condition of all the injured is out of danger, 7 shops were also damaged in the blast while the windows of the nearby buildings were broken. Immediately after the blast, officials from police, CTD, bomb disposal squad and other law enforcement agencies reached the spot and cordoned off the area and collected evidence from the spot.

Earlier, there was a hand grenade attack on a girls’ school on Sariab Road in Quetta. According to rescue sources, the school watchman was slightly injured in the explosion, the police reached the spot.

The police said that the blast partially damaged the gate of the school.
