Queen Elizabeth II did not want to leave the world at Buckingham Palace, and chose Balmoral Palace because it was the place that witnessed the most beautiful days of her life and memories through generations.
The palace is not only a place for vacation, but it is a palace where important and influential decisions were taken on the British government and other events during the twentieth century, and in it the family spent their vacations and the honeymoon of Prince Charles and Princess Diana and the decision to replace the Prime Minister of Britain.
The Queen arrived at Balmoral Palace following her health declined, and she was under the supervision of doctors, and she might no longer leave her room, and she needed the presence of those close to her by her side, as she knew that the time of her departure was very close. Before her death, family members met and were informed of the new health situation. And they began to flock to the palace, and the children arrived, and following them the grandchildren, despite the differences. After their meeting in the palace, they were able to take a last look at the Queen, and King Charles III became responsible for preserving the Queen’s memories at Balmoral Palace.
