Queen Elizabeth II celebrates her 96th birthday, Thursday, at Sandringham Palace.
Britain’s longest-reigning monarch flew by helicopter to the palace in Norfolk, where family and friends will follow.
She is expected to stay in a cottage within the palace annex, a place that her late husband, Prince Philip, loved.

On this occasion, a number of souvenir items will be produced, including a Barbie doll with a redesigned Queen’s wedding crown and an ivory gown with a blue ribbon.
