A lucky Quebecer had the chance to become a millionaire by winning the $55 million Lotto-Max jackpot on Halloween night.
“The jackpot of $55 million offered last night in the Lotto Max draw was won thanks to a selection sold in Quebec,” Loto-Québec said on Wednesday without specifying the region.
The stars were aligned for this lucky lottery player thanks to a winning combination formed by the numbers 22, 23, 25, 26, 35, 40, 44, with the complementary number 33.
A single Maxmillions worth $1 million was also won in the same draw, thanks to a combination sold in Ontario.
Since the launch of the lottery, some of the luckiest Quebecers have won more than 40 jackpots, including three of $70 million, the largest jackpots ever won in Quebec.
The next drawing scheduled for Friday will bring into play a jackpot of approximately $13 million, the state-owned company added in a press release.
