New cases of poisoning of Iranian schoolgirls were listed Saturday in at least five provinces by the media, while the mystery persists on this case of poisoning which causes strong emotion in the country.

Dozens of girls were transferred to hospitals in the provinces of Hamedan (west), Zanjan and West Azerbaijan (northwest), Fars (south) and Alborz (north), Tasnim agencies reported. and Mehr.

The government has announced an investigation into the origins of the poisoning, but no arrests have been announced at this stage.
Last week, a Health Ministry official explained that “certain individuals” were seeking, through these actions, to “close all schools, especially girls’ schools.” This version has not been taken over by other maintainers.
This case comes as Iran has been shaken by a protest movement since the death on September 16 of Mahsa Amini, a young woman detained by the morality police who accused her of having broken the strict dress code imposing in particular on women the headscarf.
