New Delhi: A 14-year-old girl was beheaded by her mother after arguing over not washing dishes. The tragic incident took place on Sunday night in Sector 77, Noida. The victim was a woman working in a private company in Greater Noida. Police have arrested their 14-year-old daughter in connection with the incident.
The victim and her 14-year-old daughter were staying in an apartment in Noida. The incident came to light on Sunday night when the daughter told the neighbors that her mother was injured and was lying on the ground. The other occupants of the apartment then arrived at the apartment on the 14th floor and found the woman lying in a pool of blood with a head injury. The woman was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her daughter’s first statement about the incident was that when she returned from a walk, she saw her mother lying with a head injury. Police then questioned the neighbors. CCTV footage of the apartment was also checked. With this, the daughter’s statement became suspicious. It was clear on CCTV that no one else had reached the woman’s flat at the time of the incident. The 14-year-old was later questioned by police and later found guilty of murder. The daughter confessed to the police that her mother had complained that she had not washed the dishes and that the ensuing dispute had led to her murder.
The mother scolded her daughter for not obeying her orders to wash the dishes. The two then got into an argument and the daughter hit her mother on the head with a frying pan in the kitchen. The death of the mother was confirmed by the continuous beating of the head with a frying pan. Police said the daughter then told neighbors.
The FIR was registered by the police on the complaint of the brother of the slain woman. Registered. The 14-year-old accused was arrested and sent to a remedial school. The victim had divorced her husband five years after her marriage. He then started living with his daughter in a flat in Noida.
