“I think we both raised our level at that time. Tiebreak can go both ways. I just tried to stay there mentally. Obviously, I’m happy to be in the final,” Sinner was quoted as saying ESPN, Monday (19/8).

Sinner, who has been dealing with a right hip issue, was seen holding the area early in the game. However, Sinner said he was physically fine.

“Sometimes I feel it. I have to check it after this tournament here. I didn’t have much time to recover before coming here. I’m not worried yet. I’m happy to play,” he said. (M-3)
