As for Sony, Qualcomm may partner with the Japanese company in an effort to develop and release exclusive mobile games optimized for the Snapdragon platform. As for hardware, where Sony and Nintendo source their chips from other vendors, Qualcomm has years of experience in this category, developing and bringing its own solutions. Its Adreno 740, belonging to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, is easily the fastest Android smartphone GPU right now.
Qualcomm is working on the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 4, a chipset with a 12-core configuration designed to be found in notebooks. Something similar can be found in this games console, with the device running Android right out of the box.
